Worshipful Brother Roger C. Biede III is a second-generation Freemason born in Chicago, Illinois. He moved to Arizona early in life and attended school in Tucson, graduating from Canyon Del Oro High School and University of Arizona.
He started his working career as a Director of Operations of a local family owned chain of restaurants, opening restaurants in Tucson and Phoenix. Later as General Manager of a USDA inspected Manufacturing plant he provided food to the US Military and Firefighters throughout the US and Mexico. WB Roger moved to San Francisco to pursue a career in Project Management, working on sizable projects and traveling the world. He moved to Arizona when he got married and continues to travel and manage large scale projects.
He was raised in Gila Valley Lodge No. 9; a Territorial Lodge in Historic Florence, serving as Worshipful Master in 2017 and 2018; and currently Lodge Historian and Librarian. He is a York Rite Freemason with membership in Globe Chapter No. 7; Phoenix Council No. 4; and Arizona Commandery No. 1; a Sabbar Shriner with his Father, a El Zaribah Shriner, and member of Arizona Research Lodge No. 1.
WB Roger is an Ambassador to the George Washington Masonic National Memorial and is the first American Master of Castle Island Virtual Lodge No. 190; chartered under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Manitoba.
He volunteers his spare time by serving on the Board of Masonic Charities of Arizona and the George Roskruge & S. Barry Casey Museum and Library. In Florence, he is the Executive Director of the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce and on the Board of
the Pinal County Historical Society.
