Mrs. J.C. Reece, worked as Research Assistant/Educational Outreach Coordinator for NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter mission at Arizona State University (ASU), calibrating the Wide Angle Camera and the Narrow Angle Camera. From 1999-2010; she worked at ASU’s NASA Space Photography Laboratory as Research Assistant/Educational Outreach Coordinator conducting comparative planetary geology analysis for NASA’s Mars Exploration Rovers. She worked on NASA’s Mars Global Surveyor mission, NASA’s Mars Odyssey mission, ESA’s Mars Express mission and Beagle 2 Lander. 2011 saw her the Science Lead for NASA/Nanoracks on the final two Space Shuttle missions. She was Commander for the Family Living Analysis on Mars Expedition (F.L.A.M.E.); both lunar and martian analogue missions at the Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS) for five field seasons. F.L.A.M.E. is hailed as the first analogue missions to incorporate children under the age of 15 to simulate what life would be like living and working on the Moon and Mars.
Veronica Ann is 1st Lady at El Zaribah Shrine (2018) in Phoenix, Arizona alongside her then future husband, Illustrious Sir J.C. Reece. She is a Member of Eastern Star (along with her husband), Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, and The Social Order of the Beauseant. She supports her Beloved Husband in all his Masonic duties within Blue Lodge, Scottish Rite, York Rite, etc.; as he fully supports her in all her Masonic and non-Masonic duties in life. Together, they also support the homeless, veterans and Shrine children and their families.
